Bio

Charlie Moon (born Charlotte Sophia de Jongh) is an interdisciplinary artist from Boxtel, the Netherlands. Growing up in a unique household with an artist mother and a scientist father, her life took a dynamic turn at the age of eight when her parents separated, leading her to alternate weekly between two homes. This “nomadic” childhood nurtured her independence and wanderer’s spirit. Her adventurous nature took her to Australia, New Zealand, and Polynesia—cultures that still echo in her work through traditional patterns and symbols.

After studying at SintLucas and AMFI Fashion & Design in Amsterdam, Charlie developed a distinctive artistic style where craftsmanship and modern technology merge. By blending classical techniques with innovative tools like 3D printing and artificial intelligence, she explores new creative paths and conveys a message of harmony and acceptance toward technological progress. “With AI, I want to expand the artistic horizon,” she says. “It’s inevitable that AI will become part of the art world, and I want to show that transition as something inspiring, not threatening.”

Charlie has exhibited her work worldwide—from the Netherlands to Spain, New York, and Dubai. In 2024, she was recognized as a Visionary Artist by the platform The.HUG.xyz. Her work has also been featured in leading magazines such as Model Magazine, PROMPT Magazine, and WOWorld Magazine.
